Return & Refund Policy

This policy covers all Asatius Music products including digital music, physical media (CDs, vinyl), apparel, and merchandise.

DIGITAL 1. Digital Product Policy

1.1 No Returns on Digital Music

Asatius Music sells digital music files that are available for immediate download. Due to the nature of digital products:

  • All digital music purchases are final
  • No returns or exchanges are accepted
  • No refunds are provided once download has begun
  • Includes MP3, WAV, FLAC, and streaming downloads

By purchasing digital music from Asatius Music, you acknowledge and agree that you cannot return the product for a refund once the download process has started.

PHYSICAL 2. Physical Product Return Policy

2.1 Eligible Physical Products

This section applies to:

  • Vinyl Records
  • CDs (Compact Discs)
  • Cassette Tapes
  • Limited Edition Box Sets
  • Collector's Editions

2.2 Return Window & Conditions

Physical products may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided:

  • Item is in original, unopened packaging
  • Seals are intact (for sealed products)
  • No signs of use or damage
  • Original receipt or order confirmation provided
  • Return authorization obtained (see process below)

2.3 Non-Returnable Physical Items

The following physical items cannot be returned:

  • Opened CDs or vinyl (unless defective)
  • Autographed merchandise
  • Limited edition items marked "Final Sale"
  • Personalized or custom-ordered items
  • Items damaged due to customer mishandling

APPAREL 3. Apparel & Shoes Return Policy

3.1 Clothing & Footwear Returns

Apparel items (t-shirts, hoodies, shoes, accessories) may be returned within 30 days if:

  • Item is unworn, unwashed, and undamaged
  • Original tags are still attached
  • No stains, odors, or signs of wear
  • In original packaging (if applicable)

3.2 Special Conditions for Shoes

Shoes must be returned:

  • With original shoe box
  • With all inserts and packaging materials
  • No scuff marks on soles
  • Laces intact and untied

3.3 Hygiene Items (Non-Returnable)

For hygiene reasons, the following cannot be returned:

  • Undergarments
  • Socks
  • Swimwear (if hygiene seal is broken)
  • Face masks

5. Return Process & Instructions

How to Return Physical Items:

  1. Request Authorization: Email returns@asatiusrecords.com within 30 days
  2. Receive RMA: We'll send a Return Merchandise Authorization number
  3. Package Securely: Include all original items, packaging, and accessories
  4. Ship: Send to our returns address (provided with RMA)
  5. Tracking: Use trackable shipping and keep your receipt
  6. Inspection: We inspect items upon arrival (3-5 business days)
  7. Refund: Refund processed to original payment method

5.1 Return Shipping Costs

Customer pays return shipping unless:

  • We sent the wrong item
  • Item arrived damaged or defective
  • Significant quality issue

In these cases, we provide a prepaid return label.

5.2 Restocking Fees

Most items have no restocking fee. However:

  • Opened media (CDs/vinyl): 15% restocking fee if defective claim is unverified
  • Custom or personalized items: 25% restocking fee
  • Large quantity returns: Fees may apply

6. Refund Processing

Refund Timeline:

  • Return Received: 1-2 business days for processing
  • Inspection Period: 3-5 business days
  • Refund Initiated: Within 5 business days of approval
  • Bank Processing: Additional 3-10 business days
  • Store Credit: Issued immediately if requested

6.1 Refund Methods

Refunds are issued to the original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days
  • Store Credit: Instant (email delivery)

Note: International returns may take additional 5-7 business days for processing. Customs fees and duties are non-refundable.

7. Damaged or Defective Items

7.1 Reporting Issues

If you receive a damaged or defective item:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide photos of the damage/defect
  • Include packaging photos if damaged in transit
  • Keep all original packaging

7.2 Solutions We Offer

For verified damaged/defective items:

  • Replacement: We ship a new item immediately
  • Refund: Full refund including original shipping
  • Partial Refund: For minor defects (your choice)
  • Exchange: For different size/color (if available)

Important: For vinyl records, minor cosmetic imperfections in the vinyl or sleeve are not considered defects unless they affect playability. "Non-fill" (light surface noise) on new vinyl is common and not grounds for return.

8. Exchanges

8.1 Size/Color Exchanges

We offer exchanges for:

  • Apparel sizing issues
  • Color preferences (if available)
  • Wrong item shipped by us

Exchange process:

  1. Return original item following standard process
  2. Note "Exchange" in your return request
  3. Specify desired size/color/item
  4. We ship replacement once return is received

8.2 Exchange Shipping

We cover shipping costs for exchanges when:

  • We made an error
  • Item was defective
  • Sizing chart was inaccurate

Otherwise, customer pays return shipping; we cover shipping of replacement.

9. Store Credit

9.1 When Store Credit is Offered

You may choose store credit instead of refund when:

  • Returning items outside 30-day window (at our discretion)
  • Requesting store credit specifically
  • Returning without original receipt
  • Items show minor wear but we accept return

9.2 Store Credit Terms

  • Credit issued via unique code to your email
  • Valid for 365 days from issue date
  • Can be used on any Asatius Music products
  • Non-transferable, no cash value
  • Can be combined with promotions

10. International Returns

10.1 Additional Requirements

International customers must:

  • Mark package as "RETURNED GOODS" on customs form
  • Include copy of commercial invoice
  • Use trackable international shipping
  • Pay all return shipping costs
  • Note: We cannot refund original customs/duties fees

Tip: For high-value returns, consider purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for items lost in return transit.

11. Final Sale Items

11.1 Non-Returnable Products

The following are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned:

  • Digital downloads of any kind
  • Clearance or discounted items marked "Final Sale"
  • Autographed memorabilia
  • Used or pre-owned items
  • Personalized/customized products
  • Intimate apparel (undergarments, swimwear)
  • Opened software or media
  • Gift cards or digital credits
